Burlafingen Helmet

 
 

The original of this helmet is now in the Archäologische Staatssammlung in Munich. It was found in 1959 near Burlafingen, Southern Germany. The helmet has two owner inscriptions, P. Aurelius und M. Munatius and also the Legio XVI Gallica is mentioned. The helmet dates in the early first century AD, and is classiefied in the Robinson-categories as „Coolus G“.  Our model is made in brass. We slightly increased width and length od the skull, the rest of the measurements is as on the original. This helmet is available for regular order now.
